It was one of those nights that feels unreal when you’re standing pitchside with a camera in your hands. I saw everything up close, every sprint, every duel, every emotion. Real Madrid dismantled Monaco 6–1, and the Bernabéu was alive.
Mbappé was on fire. Two goals, two celebrations straight in front of me, moments frozen forever just meters away. At one point he was chasing a long ball at full speed and almost crashed into us on the sideline, the intensity was unreal. And then there was that huge defensive moment, Mbappé sprinting all the way back from Monaco’s box to Madrid’s goal to stop a clear chance. Goals, sweat, leadership, all of it.
When Vini Jr. scored, the entire Bernabéu erupted. After being booed in the last game, that goal felt like release, pure noise, pure emotion. Jude added his moment too, celebrating his goal with a new celebration, shutting down the rumors in the most perfect way.
Monaco was the game I always wanted to see. Being a photographer on a night like this felt magical. It was the first team I ever saw Mbappé play for, the Monaco youth team back in 2015, just before his first-team debut on December 2nd. And now to see him in a Champions League Night play against this Club, straight before my Camera was Magical and a Dream come true.
