5:0 Victory for Real Madrid Femenino

Real Madrid Femenino 5–0 Alhama

Real Madrid began the game trying to set the tempo from the very first minute. Toletti tested her luck early with a shot from outside the box, although it flew quite high. Alhama tried to stay compact, but the first warning signs arrived quickly.

Aitana saw a yellow card in the 8th minute after Eva Navarro dribbled through several rivals and forced her to commit a tactical foul. A few minutes later, Toletti went down injured, and the referee had to stop the game. She continued briefly, but Real Madrid were already showing some discomfort in midfield.

Alhama were not creating real danger. Pan Quesada moved the ball from side to side, but without threatening Misa’s goal. The match changed in the 30th minute, when Eva Navarro refused to give up a ball on the touchline, she fought for it, and sent a cross into the box. Santamaría tried to clear it, but instead pushed it into her own net. Real Madrid were ahead 1–0.

From that moment, Madrid took total control, while Alhama mainly tried to disrupt the rhythm. Bou Comendador received a yellow card in the 37th minute, and Weir struggled to turn and play forward, often forced to move backward due to pressure. After two minutes of additional time, the first half ended with Madrid leading.

Second Half

The fresh energy paid off fast. In the 51st minute, Cristobal scored Madrid’s second goal, making it 2–0. Just three minutes later, Keukelaar scored the third, celebrating her debut in the white shirt with a goal.

There was a nice moment of combination play in the 69th minute between Linda Caicedo and Athenea, although Caicedo’s final shot lacked power. Shortly after, Madrid made another change, bringing in Shei for Dabitiz.

Both teams then entered a phase of opposite intentions, Madrid wanted the fourth goal, while Alhama clearly tried to limit the damage. In the 81st minute, Alhama made another substitution, Toro came in and Santamaría left.

Iris Ashley had a big chance in the 83rd minute but sent the ball just wide of the right post. Athenea later dribbled past three defenders in a row, but the Alhama defense eventually cleared it.

The fourth goal finally came in the 89th minute through Iris Ashley, making it 4–0. With six minutes added, there was still time for more drama, Misa produced a strong save. And in the 94th minute, Caicedo scored the fifth goal, sealing an impressive 5–0 victory for Real Madrid.
